Hidden tail gate latches.
I have a friend who is working on a Flare side. He`s down to the tail gate and decided that the chains and latches are ugly. Any body have any ideas or links? I`ve been searching the web, but not really coming up with any thing. Custom or a kit, lets see them. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. He found something that will do the job (and that I had looked at before I posted, but I was having a brain fart and thought that won`t work). But I do appreciate the response.

I'm latching my '56 tailgate with the sliding bolt method (last image).

Re: Hidden tail gate latches.
If you ever have a chance to look at the tailgate of a Jeep Grand WAGONEER(not the cherokee) they have inside tailgate latches and handles. I at one time thought of doing this to a tailgate I had.
