Hey everyone!
I'm glad to have joined the site and excited to see so many other people with this model year, I was raised in a family who only bought Fords and the idea of buying a japanese car was unAmerican, I have wanted a 70's ford since I was a kid, I got my '72 f250 rust free and have had it for almost a year. Its got a 4" lift with 35" trail diggers, 390FE with edelbrock intake manifold, edelbrock performer series 650cfm carb, MSD ignition with 8.8mm wires, RV cam, headman longtube headers, along with a spotlight from a 60's ford police car, its been a fun project and I try to work on it every weekend. I've replaced the clutch, gone through the wiring(it was spliced and hacked beyond belief it was causing a short which caused the ignition to short out causing the starter to crank endlessly and almost caught fire), replaced the exhaust, sprayed the undercarriage, frame, and body panels, along with many other things, lots of time, profanity, and the help of friends have gone into this truck but couldnt be happier with it.
