Truck won't start

Post by Vcbotto »

Hello fortification nation! I have a 1969 F100 360 v8. Truck was running great and started every time no problems. The only issue I had was I couldn't get the brake lights or rear signal lights to work. All other lights were functioning properly. Then last weekend I put a trailer on the back of the truck, drove it to a stone place, loaded the trailer with a yard of decomposed granite and when I turned the key I got nothing. So I tried to jump it, didn't work. We put a new solenoid in it, no luck. Put a new starter on her, nothing. Checked the battery, it read as a bad battery so I got a new battery, put it in and still nothing, there is no response to the turn of the key at all. Any ideas???
Thanks!

it might be the ignition itself, theyre like 20 bucks ar O'riely's. I had a similar problem with my truck and that was the sole casue of it
