OG '67 F100
Looked around the net and this forum looked to be the best so I'm here looking for info and to contribute where I can as well.
I had seen this F100 sitting in a vacant lot for many many years. Then one day it was gone and was just down the street in another vacant lot. This time it had a for sale sign on it and I had to have it. My dad and I are restoring our familys '69 Bronco and I needed a proper tow vehicle.
Original paint, Y code 352, original radio(love original radios) the owner and I came to an agreement and it was mine. Now I asked about back fees and was assured it had none. No title but for $400 bucks I figured I take a chance and he's a good neighbor so roll of the dice. Called DMV and was told $850 back fees. Had them mail me certification of non operation papers as it's been sitting for the past 10 years and walked out of the DMV for $50 total.
I was told it would start right up but no battery or fuel or brakes so towed it back to my lot and hoped for the best. Sure enough fired right up and idled like a champ. Bled the brakes and took it for a spin around the block. Needs lots of electrical work. Typical brake lights, turn signals, headlights not working. But the engine and the tranny work well.
Plans are to get everything working. Repair dents and dings and blend in fresh old looking paint over repair areas to match the rest of the truck. I'm going to keep every inch of the original paint that I can no matter how faded it is.

Re: OG '67 F100
from right around the corner in Valencia!! You got a great deal on that truck. CNM67 is another local member from Canyon Country. Let us know if you need any help with anything as we are both relatively close and have taken these trucks apart a few times now. Between my 72 and my 69 Crew, and then converting his 67 from a longbed to a shortbed, we have been through just about every nut and bolt of these trucks. And if you need a real expert, then BobbyFord is just a stones throw away down the freeway.
Looks like a great truck! That perfect 67 grille alone was worth half of what you paid for that truck!
And you DID find the best bumpside website.. You really don't need to go anywhere else as all the info you could need is right here. Just ask!
On a side note, is that a cardboard driver's window I see? If you need glass, I have an extra set of windows in my storage that I can probably part with. I kept them from my 72 in case I ever ended up with a broken window on my crew. But I can always get another from a Pick-a-Part if I need one. So let me know... it will save you from hunting one down.

Re: OG '67 F100
Yep that is the very rare cardboard window option. That window was there a few years back but was taken out by some bored kids. It also had all four hubcaps but he had to put the spare on to move it and left the hubcap sitting there and it's gone now.
I need a window and the regulator. I have Bronco windows and regulators but haven't had a chance to see if they are the same. My guess is the window is different but hopefully the regulator is the same.
I post up and 15 minutes later parts are being offered to get this old dog back on the road. That's a good forum.
Thanks I'll contact you via pm about the window.
Also appreciate the offer to help, new to the area and sometimes I need an extra set of hands. Same to you if you need a hand let me know.
