F-350 shoulder belts

Post by Faltura »

I have a 72 F-350 that already had lap seat belts and I was thinking about putting a shoulder belt unit in.

There are rubber plugs that cover holes that are located in the quater section of the cab about where my left ear would be while sitting in the drivers seat. The hole has a smooth metal sleeve where the plug fits in and it has no threads that I can see.

Does anyone know if these are mounts for shoulder seat belts and if so, how would a shoulder mount attach there?

Yeah, those are for shoulder belts. Many of us have installed them. Most of the holes are not threaded from the factory, so you just need to see what size bolts your shoulder belts come with and thread the hole accordingly.

Thanks guys. That helps quite a bit. Guess I should have checked out the interior category first.
