Hi I'm Cory and I'm a FoMoCoholic

Post by Asillymick »

Is this the place my sponser told me to come to and be open? You know to discuss how I want to own every Ford Merc and Lincoln I come across? Current collections include a 57 F100 driver, 67 Ranger (Progress) and a 46 Ford Biz Coup (Long term collecting parts project). Oh yeah I am in OKC, um not sure what else to say- I am married and have a teenager from a previous. Past Fords are a 26T Hot rod, a Model A sedan Hotrod, a 28 A truck hot rod, and a 54 2door Sedan Kustom. I don't like it when a SBC get put into any Ford regardless of how they dress it up, I think that shows a lack of vision and proves they know nothing about cars/trucks. If you do it I am not saying you are bad just stating if you go to a show and the hoods are raised it is BORING to see yet another SBC. Ok that is all, good day.

:wel: from California! I would have to agree with you on seeing to many SBC in Fords, especially the Fords in the 20's - 40's. I personally like SBC's in the right car but if I was building an older Ford hot rod I would deffinently not use a SBC. Anyway, welcome aboard Cory. :fr:

(In unison with others) Hidy Cory!

You've found a great place to start your "recovery".
Mind you I can help quite a bit with this simple cure. Power, more power, it needs more power, it needs more FORD power!
Ok, so that would even be my answer to a vette guy, but still. lol :D
With that, I'm gonna shut up before I get into an FE rant. :P

Welcome to the family from south Texas... looking forward to pictures ..
I have to say that I have always hated the fact that you never see a Model T with a Ford engine unless it is an inline 4. I have always wanted to build a Model T with a well dressed and fixed up Ford FE.. I think it would look spectacular.. that is my :2cents:

I had a 429 CJ from a Torino in my T, first thing the new owner did was put a 400 Chebby in it and so goes the sweet ride, his reason... The dress up parts are cheaper. UHG! I need to study up on how to post pics. Plus I don't have any of my 67 yet.
