F600 Steering wheel

Post by Mohillbilly »

My brother told me that an F600 steering wheel is flatter than the standard wheel, and would help get the wheel off my rather large belly.  If anyone has one, or would even consider a custom. Just need some breathing room. SW Missouri.

I am not certain but I think the F600 steering wheel is also larger in diameter. Either way I think it would be easier, cheaper, and give you more room to put in an aftermarket 15" steering wheel. That should buy you the room you need. Does you pickup have power steering?

Thanks fireguywtc, I hadn't even thought about a difference in diameters. I think I might have actually located a shorter steering column here fairly locally at KC Obsolete Parts in Phelps, MO (just northeast of Mt. Vernon on old Rte 66). Reggie Carpenter is looking for that and several other things for me.
