newb from SW Georgia

Post by Stickbow »

Just joined, two days after finally finding my truck. Have been looking for a driveable pre 73 for six months or more, finally found a lunar green LWB with a 360. Luckily, it had an intermediate owner who did a lot towards getting driveable . Need to do my p.s. swap and put in a brake booster so my wife or son can drive it, then can start the fun stuff.

My intent is a kayak hauler that I like to drive enough to use for lots more, and that my wife won't mind riding in.

Anyone from the Albany/Columbus/Macon Georgia area have suggestions for junkyards and/or pull your own parts places?

Thanks all - Hey Stroker69 (or anybody else)

I'll be at the Moultrie swap meet tomorrow with a buddy from here in Americus. Driving down in my little car, not by bump, but will be there from about noon or so 'til we get wore out looking.

Well hope you got to the show, way to cold for the old bones especially with the wind across that air field, plus the Wife said I couldn't spend any money so whats the use of going. To explain the last time I went I bought a 1965 fairlane 500, so I'm grounded for a while. :(
