Hello,
I finally got around to joining this awesome site for these trucks. I have a 71 Custom Stepside which I aquired by chance 5 yrs ago when I was browsing at the Pick-A-Part. It is a Canary Yellow Custom F100 w/Green interior 302 C4 column shift truck, no p/s or brakes but does have Ford add on a/c(thank the gods for that!), and it is a radio delete truck too.. The truck was a donated truck & it was sitting in the pen w/other donated vehicles-I got it for a steal that day & it is a rust free Phoenix ordered truck too-how cool! The motor runs but has a dead cylinder, so plans are to install a 1993 5.0 w/GT 40 heads from a 93 Cobra Mustang & I'm going to ditch the ol C4 & already have a new built AOD to be put in. I also aquired a 1978 complete front end w/the disc brakes & also p/s and pwr brakes too, need to find a nice newer 80's or 90's bench too. So this should be great adventure! Hope to talk w/many of you in the future.
