No, I believe the later beds are 2" longer. Read the tech article on placing a bump body on 73 to 79 frame.

Are you talking about the Styleside or Flareside? If you are talking about the Flareside, the beds are 4.5 ft, 6.5 ft and 8 ft. Yes 8 ft. The bed is also 6 inches wider than a 4.5 or 6.5 and the wheel base is 131 inches from 67 to 72. I think I'm correct. I'm working on a 68 F100 Flareside 131 inch wheel base with a 8 ft bed now.

I would have to measure but I thought the extra length is in the cab on the dents. The back of the cab slopes back from the top to where it meets the box, where the bump is straight down all the way. I guess one easy way to tell besides measuring is if anyone here has switched a topper between the two. ![Hmmm :hmm:](./images/smilies/icon_hm.gif)
