Just recently bought a 79 F100 project truck. I was looking for a 60-70's truck to pull my vintage camper with and ran across this truck. The p/o that had it did a lot of work on it such as having the 302 rebuilt and the C4 tranny rebuilt. He also installed a 2005 C/V front suspension and explorer rearend. He was more into mustangs and lost intrest on the project.
I've only had it a few weeks but have been working on the finishing details of the c/v front and motor mount installation. I'm probably going to swap out the explorer rearend for a wider rearend and use the 17" mustang wheels that he put on the truck.
I've learned a lot reading post about the c/v installations and look forward to proceeding with this project.
