Another Newbie from NC

Post by TheOldBlueBeater »

Stumbled onto this site while looking up info on early 70s F100s. Great resource site!

I bought a 72 F100 for $200. It's not in great shape, but it's not dead either. With a little blood, sweat and tears, we hope to make a decent errand running truck out of it. At first I was disappointed it wasn't a V8, but the more I read about the 240/300 6 cylinders, I'm actually looking forward to working on this 240.

We'll be popping in from time to time looking for help as we make repairs or upgrades. I'm guessing searches will answer most of our questions, but I'm sure we'll find some unique situations that will need some input from those who have gone before us and actually know what they're doing.

Thanks for a great place to find info and support!
