hello to the smartest bunch of guys (and girls) in the country, and to the people with the best taste in REAL trucks. i am a 67-79 ford truck nut, ive had them since i was in high school, graduated in 82 in houghton, michigan's upper peninsula. my first truck was a '50 gmc and then i bought a '69 f-250 and have had i beleive 16 of them in my life so far. i also love hot rods and currently built and drive daily (in the summer) a 37 chevy truck cab only on a homemade, low, suicide axle frame. no fenders and no hood and with a 57 desoto hemi 2 four barrel engine in front of a dakota 5 speed, which is in front of a 75 bronco 9 inch. i know i said chevy and desoto (chrysler) but it is very cool and very fast. my real passion lies with the ford 1967-72 f-250's and is what i currently have now, a 68 f-250 390 -4 bbl 4 spd. i bought the truck in san fran. three years ago and drive it daily in the summer and only until deer hunting season is over here in the u.p.. this winter im restoring the truck because there is the start of rust on the bottom of both front fenders and doors and just a tad on the box seam, also i have power steering and a dana 60 front axle that are giong on it. may i ask all of you if anyone knows where to buy new fenders and new doors ? or are the fenders and door patch panels all that is available at l.m.c. truck parts ? nice to meet you all ! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hello and :wel: from Georgia! The big 3 (Dennis Carpenter, LMC and NPD) all sell fenders. There's also other places on the web including these guys http://www.rustrepair.com/app2/onlinecat.htm?p=sm Good luck on the doors though. About all you'll find are patch panels. However, if you post in the Parts Wanted section, there's probably some members in your neck of the woods that have some of everything they'd part with. Look forward to seeing some pics!

:wel: from California! For parts, check the big three as previously mentioned. But also check your local wrecker. I know in our area, we have three decent wreckers that always seem to have a bump or two that has good sheet metal if needed. :fr:
