Drop coils
I don't really like the stance of my truck, it is really level. I am not sure about the history or status of my truck coils but they seem to be stock, even with the 460 in the front the truck is really level. I want to order some of the 2" drop coils from LMC tuck. I was wondering how hard these are to install, becuase i really want the RAKED stance. Is this an arduous process involving lots of tools or what? I just want to know whether to order them or not. I really want the raked stance and this is the most viable and easy way it looks like to do it. thanks for the input.

It's not hard to do at all.
Use a set of Small Block springs.Thats whats in the front of my Truck.I haven't had any problems with running them.

the coil spring is held in place by two rusted bolts and a c clip looking job at the top. I'm not sure the size of the bolt that secures it at the bottom, i use a bigass monkey wrench for stuff that big.
remove the wheel, put the frame on a jack stand. put your floor jack under the kingpin spindle area, remove the upper nuts at the top (thats redundant) then lower the spring. you'll have to get the wrench through the coils, remove it, and take note of the order of part removal. best i can recall, all i had was a rubber bushing, a washer and the nut. thats all it has now. not to hard. assembly is the reverse. i advise using plenty of PB Blaster.

2" Drop coils alone won't give you much - most won't even notice the difference. I had "2 drop coils alone for a while and then went to 3" drop beams and 2" drop coils- then it was lowered.

I ordered the drop coils. They should make somewhat of a difference I think because the former owner of my truck had some new coils put in that have hella strength and it looks like the truck is sagging almost I hate the stance. I will put these on hopefully it will be noticeable. It will be to me at least.

you could always add a leaf or 2 in the back too. raise the rear and it gives a nicer rake without having to mess with drop beams if stance is all you care about and not distance from the ground

Hmm, yeah thats in interesting idea. turns out they actually DONT have the drop coils. they are discontinued
. I sure as hell aren't ordering drop I-beams for 400+++ and installation would be a pitfa. I will see what It looks like after paint, and if i care as much anymore about the stance.

Camber is controlled by ride height on these trucks and if you use shorter springs the camber will go out of specs. 2 inches may not be a big problem but an alignment shop might not be able to set the alignment properly.

you could beef up the suspension in the rear, maybe some blocks (if its a axle over leaf setup). and then fill up the space with some bigger tires.
