Hey everyone, my name is Erik. I am from Mississippi. Been reading this forum for a while, but just now joining. I finally have the time to work on my trucks.
I currently have a 72 F100 styleside lwb 240 with a C4. It was my grandfathers truck. I have been wanting to get it running for a while, but have always been in school or too busy with work.
I recently added a 72 F100 swb 300 with a 3OTT to my stable. This one actually works and runs, but needs some work. The 3 speed has been relocated to the floor and is not the best job. So I am going to swap the c4 from my other truck and make it an auto.
My plan is to take both trucks and make the short wheel base a tribute for my grandfather. Using the 300 motor, matching up the C4 and pulling most of the trim off of his truck. The lwb is pretty much rusted to pieces so the swb is going to get most of the rehabing for the body and the running motor. I'll post some pics soon, I am making a build book so I should have plenty of pictures.
Hopefully I will get to talk to a bunch of you and look forward to meeting some new friends that love this model F100

A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!
