This is a real beauty except for the mismatched '69 aluminum grill. Last word I had from the current owner is that the original owner claims it's original. Okayyyyyy...
It also has been repainted so that originality's been lost but if the documentation is legit, it's the highest serial numbered Merc with papers that I know of.

I like that color. That looks like the orginal color of my 67 and I hardly see that color here on the forums.

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!

It's almost an exact twin to my daily driver except mine was originally ordered with the custom cab trim and a white bumper, no radio and just two gauges in the cluster.
Think I'll ask my contact at Ford historical for an info sheet on that one up for auction.

It been on ebay at least 3 times and has never been over $10000. I would love to have it since its the inline and a factory merc.

Looks like a nice truck! Although, the grill is obviously not right. Looks to me like the front end (at least the fender) has been resprayed again. Look at the color difference between the door and fender. I bet she was in a small bender that required replacement of the grill as well as body work. Still cool!
