Quality seat?

Post by J_Boo »

Anyone got a good quality seat? I am even willing to accept a 73-79.

You should add your Location to your Profile, so folks know where you live. Shipping a seat assembly would be cost-prohibitive, so members who live nearby might be able to help you out.

I have both 67-72 or 73-79 if you live close to Upstate South Carolina and come get one. Its yours for coming to get them out of my way.

Id recommend a Ford truck bench seat through 79. They bolt right in using the same runners. There's still alot of good ones out there, some with the nice vinyl seatcovers! :D
The 73-79 ones are put together a little different as far as the cushions go. More comfotable and better back support. I paid a C-note for a perfect one, 78 or 79, for my 67 just because it was exactly what I wanted in the right color and everything!

I try to find some around here I just have the worst of luck. I was given one with the truck but some springs are broke and to pay someone to reupholster is like 600 bucks.

seats up to 1996 will bolt right in as long as you use seat tracks from a 1967-1979 seat.

I have an original 1970 ford seat. It is gray with black going down the center and it has no tears. Not sure if you want to go to Iowa for the seat but can post pictures if interested.
