Hello from Oregon

Post by Oregon_Redneck »

Hey everyone. I'm Red. Just bought myself a '79 Ford F150 that runs for $500. It does need cosmetic work, but is free from rust, relatively dent-free and has a sweet dual exhaust system. I'd like to complete a rolling restoration on it and can't wait to dig into the process.

My brakes seem to either need brake fluid, or a new master cylinder as the pedal almost went to the floor this morning and I found it hard to stop. Needless to say I've parked it until I can get that taken care of.

I do have a question though and maybe I should post it somewhere else but...my wife and I currently live in an apartment complex, making it very difficult for me to do much work on my truck. I don't want to wait until our lease is up. Anyone have any suggestions on places that lease space out?

Thanks,
Red

Red... :wel: from choo-choo town over and down here in TN. My 79' was in the family for some 8 years before I scrapped it out.
I remember having to drive to parts store parking lots to work on trucks before when I lived in an apartment once.

Good idea on parts store parking lots! I have also found a storage unit that allows some auto repair so I'm gonna check that out.

Thanks,
