Gaylords makes a really nice one. Its pricey tho, They gave me a price of $ 950 plus $ 250 to get it to Texas. This was for a long bed. Dont know if one for a short bed is less? Look them up, they got some cool pics to give you some idea's.

If you are talking about a fiberglass cover, I had one on my 98 Ranger I just sold. Took it off in 2000 when I purchase it and put back on when I sold the "truck". They look nice, but are in the way if you actually haul anything. Just a thought, they do look good if you don't carry anything in the bed of the truck. Again, this is just my two cents worth....

I used an Exstang soft cover on Old Blue.
I couldn't find one for a short bed so I made this one work.
It's actually for a 96 model but I shortened the length and had a local upholstery shop cut the vinyl down to fit.
The width was fine and I think I cut about 3 to 4 inches off of the length.

Extang has soft covers. part #2505 ford 67-72 shortbed. they also have a soft one that tilts up, part #8505 for shortbed.
