Hey everyone,

I have been shopping for a gen5 truck for quite a few months now and finally pulled the trigger. I just purchased a 1972 F250 Camper Special Sport Custom. PS, PB, tool box and AC. Its drivable now and I plan on fixing it up a little here and there. My grandfather drove one just like this and I've been hoping to get a nice one for a while. It has a 390V8 with a 4 bbl Edelbrock Carb, fresh rebuild on the engine and tranny, new radiator, etc.

The prior owner did a home paint job on it and put on some other new parts so its not bad looking but has a ways to go before its sweet. Some new trim and what not will dress it up nice. Its name is Hank because good old trucks somehow just need a name.

I am a Ford guy through and through. This is my third Ford truck and I've also owned a Club Wagon, two Aerostars, a Fairmont and a Focus.

I am no mechanic but I like to tinker a bit. So glad to find this great resource!
