Hello from Michigan!

Post by jsjsjs35 »

Hello everyone, I am Jeff, and am new to the Fordification website. "First time writer, longtime viewer" I am from Lake Somerset Michigan, I am the assistant shop manager for Paul's High Performance out of Jackson Michigan.
After many years of waiting, I have recently purchased my second "bump". It's a 1972 360 V8 Automatic Longbox, 2 wd. The color is a light yellow, and seems to appear, as the original. I purchased the truck from the second owner, whom brought it to Michigan. It spent the first several years on the Naval base in Virginia. All in all, the truck is "mint" for being a Michigan truck. Very minimal rust, and seems to run out very well. I am very very excited about my new baby. Future plans include a Ford Racing 5.0L Boss engine from the 2011-12 Mustang model year. The body will remain stock appearing, with modifications planned on "lowering" the suspension slightly and keep with an old skool theme body and stance.
I have enjoyed the many hours I have spent looking through all of the members "project pages & pics" which are all very very interesting and informative.
This website appears to be built up from a great group of "grass-roots" get it done kind of people, and I am excited to join and be a part of it. I will post pics of my baby, and soon as I get them downloaded. Looking forward to chatting with you all, and hopefully if I get myself in a pinch with my build, the advice will be there! Cheers!

Agreed, all of his trucks are like that! Loved the zebra B2 he had there. No better advocate for the sportsman either.
Although he don't like our current prez...
Also remember seeing my first pheasant there, beautiful country for sure.
