Hello everyone, greetings from Houston, TX! I am going to be the proud owner of a 1971 F-100 very shortly. I found it on Craigslist. It is an old farm truck and claims to only have 47000 miles.
I have already done a lot of research on this site and have been very impressed by what I have found in both content and people. This is going to be a brand new endeavor for me as I have never taken on a restoration project before. I know a little on how to get things done (grew up having to help dad fix the cars) but I am going to need a bunch of help down the road. This is going to be a long process, but one I am excited to begin. My new truck is going to take me everywhere! Here is what it looks like:
Can't wait to drive it home!

from Georgia! Glad to have you. Looks like a good, solid truck to start with. I'd never done anything like that either, until last year. Never could have, or would have, attempted it were it not for this site and it's great members. If there's anything you need to know, post away, and somebody will be able to point you in the right direction. Keep us posted on your progress!
