Hello from Spokane, WA
Hi, I just bought a 1971 Ford F250 Heavy Duty Special about a week ago. It's in great shape with just some minor surface rust and a pretty nice interior too. I've liked Ford trucks for years. I'm 41 now, when I was 15 my Dad and I bought a 1981 Ford F150 for our lawn care business, but I wanted a '67-'72 (or '73-'79) body style at the time. It was 1985 so the logic of a newer truck won out for my Dad. Either way, the '81 still runs and has never let us down, so my loyalty to Ford trucks is strong. The '81 has seen much better days cosmetically though, so I decided to finally follow through with what I wanted when I found this cherry '71. I couldn't believe it when I found this site dedicated to this generation alone. Looks pretty informative and I look forward to learning a lot.

Welcome. I almost bought a 71 Crew Cab in WA, it was in Yakima. A nice guy from Spokane looked at it for me on his way through Yakima. There are a lot of Ford truck guys out there.

Yeah, there really are a lot of Ford truck guys in this area. Especially if you consider northern Idaho, Western Montana, and NE WA state. Lot's and lot's of old Ford trucks all over the place in this region.

Welcome to the neighborhood. Have to agree on the amount of bumps in WA. I've seen 4 just in my neighborhood.

Hi, welcome to the forum. I am not from Spokane but I got my new car from a dealership there. I found it from a site I came across which helped me a lot. BJ Auto Sales has the best deals on used vehicles, and I got an automobile that worked perfectly for me. I just hope it maintains its good customer service.
