Hello all from Decatur Il.

Post by Grits »

Just stoppin to say hey to everyone. Been readin and lurkin for a few months but decided to finally register today. Im 32 male, have one daughter, live in Decatur il, and drive my buddy Earl (which is a 1969 F-250 custom cab). Hes all stock bodied green with a white top and is currently in the parking lot of my job probably eeking oil on the ground i imagine. I've been told and have read in manny places that if its a ford and is not leaking something it must be out of fluids....but i hope to change that misconception! I have had Earl since the begining of Febuary and now hes my main source of transportation (rest the soul of my recently departed 93 blazer). Slowly but surely he will become the daily driver of my dreams, already it seems to be a never ending task correcting 43 years worth of use and the influence mother nature has had on Earl and all of his parts in this ammount of time. But hey i guess if theirs not grease under your finger nails what the hell else would you do with your spare time!

:wel: from Georgia and can't wait to see your truck! So, when somebody comments about that stain on the parking lot under your truck do you tell them .... "It's not leaking, that's just .... Earl" It's like they say about Harley's, that's not a leak, he's just marking his territory!
