new member from astoria oregon

Post by idaho270 »

Hello,
I just got a 1967 f100 for $800. It has been sitting for a while. Originally has 60,000 miles on it. The first day i got it i took it out on approximately 200 miles. Engine/352 8 cylinder seems to have a lot of get up and go. I did not do any tune up yet but plan on some time next week. One question is when I come to a stop and accelerate, it will stall out. starts right up after that and i am good to go.

:wel: from Georgia! First thing I'd do is check the timing and then adjust the carb using a vacuum gauge. Then look into a tune up. Look forward to seeing more of her!

Well worth the 800 bucks, sounds like a fuel problem..I had the same issue with my 390/ edelbrock carb , just needed a good clean out...floats in carb were dirty.
