New guy from Illinois!

My father passed away and I am waiting for his 1967 Ford F100 to be shipped from Virginia to me. He loved this truck and is/was the second owner so that makes me the Third owner. I couldnt see it rusting away to nothing so I am taking "Big Red" to breathe new life into her. A big project I know but also should be QUALITY BONDING time with my 10 year old son. I am probably way over my head but its a win-win either way. Its a 1967 Ford F100 long bed fleetside with a 352 V8.
I am sure I will have lots of questions in the near future so I thought I would introduce myself first and foremost!

Welcome from SoCal. How special to have your dad's truck. My 1970 F-250 came from my uncle and I swear I can hear him talking me through issues when i work on it. Total blessing. Enjoy every working moment even when it's a pain in the butt.
