New guy from Illinois!

Post by Labdog »

My father passed away and I am waiting for his 1967 Ford F100 to be shipped from Virginia to me. He loved this truck and is/was the second owner so that makes me the Third owner. I couldnt see it rusting away to nothing so I am taking "Big Red" to breathe new life into her. A big project I know but also should be QUALITY BONDING time with my 10 year old son. I am probably way over my head but its a win-win either way. Its a 1967 Ford F100 long bed fleetside with a 352 V8.
I am sure I will have lots of questions in the near future so I thought I would introduce myself first and foremost!
Great looking site!

Sorry to hear about your dad. I think you and your son will gain a lot from working on the truck together. And welcome from northern California.

Welcome from SoCal. How special to have your dad's truck. My 1970 F-250 came from my uncle and I swear I can hear him talking me through issues when i work on it. Total blessing. Enjoy every working moment even when it's a pain in the butt.

Hi there,

I'm new as well and am interested in having my Grandpa's 1972 Ford shipped out from CA. Noticed you were shipping yours from Virginia and was curious what carrier you used or if you had any recommendations...

Thanks
