Greetings from Washington

Post by Mike R »

How goes it folks? Mike's the name, power's the game. I am 19 the proud new owner of a recently purchased under 1k 1967 Ford F250 Custom Cab Camper Special.
She beats with a FE 352 that has a bad deep engine knock. I am currently in the process of restoring the entire front end. Hood, fenders, valences, headlight bezels, and core support decoration are all now rust free and about to be primed. The body work is easy. I need help with this engine knock. I am fairly certain I have a bad main bearing and I am aware of the cost and time involved with a full engine overhaul. I am also aware it will be worth more with the original engine. So my question to anyone who can help me is: Stroker kit? Bore out? New engine? Resurface crank? New bearings? What are all my options? Anyone in Seattle(or anywhere else) is welcome to drop by and help a fella out.
Theeeeeeere ya go!

:wel: from Georgia! Don't have a lot of input on the engine build but I look forward to seeing your project.

Cool, glad to see a newbie close. while I cannot offer any advice what-so-ever, for I don't know crap, I may, in the future be happy to stop by with a beer and help twist a wrench if you tell me what the hell to do.
