Hello from Florence SC

Post by TJDale »

Love all the info on this site. I got this '69 from my grandfather about two months ago. I rushed to get some paint on it so he could see it looking nice again. He has lung cancer and we just don't know how long we have.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I'm thinking your grandfather might be wanting the truck back now that it's all spiffed up... Looks real nice...!

I hope the big guy is kind to your grandfather.

Thanks guys. He hasn't seen it yet. I just got it back from the painter yesterday. I'm going to visit with him Saterday, he lives about a hour down the road.

This is what it looked like last time he saw it. Two of my uncles have shared it the past 8-10 years.

This was the last time he had it painted in 1989.

Welcome from Gerber Ca. My heart goes out to you and your Grandpa. It is rough, lost my wife of many years last July. I feel your pain. Your Grandpa is going to love the new paint job. Great looking Bump. Ride on
