I'm on the west side of the Cascades. Yeah looks like i will be upgrading the motor . Thinking about going with a aftermarket intake and possibly some aftermarket heads. Trying to save a little weight.

Welcome aboard, I'm down in Kent, seems like quite a few of us are from WA.

In regards to engine stuff check this outhttp://www.survivalmotorsports.com/FE-Engine-Kits.html the 'prison break' link at the top talks about a $6k complete FE build w\ 500hp\500ft lbs. At a minimum it should give you some ideas. In regards to "engine" upgrades I think I'd look at the ignition system first, either a points replacement or a full dizzy swap.

Thanks for the link man. Might have to just invest in getting a short block from them. I'm suppose to be picking up a 67 F100 in a few weeks. 4 speed with the granny gear and a 302 in it. Not sure what i want to do with it just yet. Might just do a couple things to it and flip it for a profit.
