Why is it that the trucks are always the best running vehicles in the family?

Re: Hello From idaho
oh sorry. since i am a teenager, and full of excuses, i wont give one. i am located in Twin falls, not too far away from towtruckerfour.
ok, now onto the truck a little. it has the 240 six, new process four speed and is 2wd, which is perfectly fine with me, since i am trying to get it set up for going to and from school. it has some heavy rust, since it lived in the puget sound area for a few years, but aside from the few dents and being originally from south dakota it is in fairly good shape. the floor is almost about ready to cave in on the drivers side, but the passenger side is a little better. i can weld and mechanic quite well, so fixing that is no big deal. the paint is that blue green that when faded looks a little bad but it can be waxed and that should improve it. where can i get some more technical information on this truck? i know there is a boatload on the fourm here, but where else is a good place. so far all i know is that the mirrors, and deluxe heater is all the options installed on my truck. but i must say, i have never seen all the tools included with a truck this old all present, including the jack! which still works. oh, it is a standard cab truck, with a autometer tach, which is nice. best part about the whole thing is it was free. all i had to do was pull it home.
thanks for the welcome and once again sorry for metioning that.
thanks
