Power Steering pump pulleys

How do I run the pulleys/belt? Do I need a Tri-pulley on the crank? Or will it lineup so that I just run one belt normally, and one belt to the power steering pump instead of the alternator?

Also, which way does the pulley go onto the pump? I have a spacer for it, does it go between the pulley and pump? If somebody has any pictures of how the pulleys are run it would help. Thanks.

What motor? The p/s pulley goes on with the knob with a groove on it
to the front.

The spacer goes between the pulley and the fan, to get the fan closer to the radiator.

As for the pullys, you'll need two-groove pullys on both the water pump and crankshaft. The inner groove is for the alternator, the outer groove is for the power steering pump. If you've got A/C, like the engine in the picture below, you'll need three-groove pullys, with the outer groove in both going to run the A/C compressor.

My motor already has two groove pulleys. Its for a 352 btw. The spacer is very small, like 4 washers stacked on top of each other.

So if I am taking your info correct, All I have to do is run the inner pulley - crank - water pump - alt and the second outer pulley - crank - water pump - power steering pump??

Yep, that's how the belt would be routed. If you've already got two-groove pullys, just bolt on the pump, route the belt like pictured above and you should be set.

Go ahead and post a picture of the spacer your're talking about. I'm thinking from your description that it might actually be a spacer between the pump bracket and block?

I found out what the spacer goes to. It goes in betwneen the pump bracket and cylinder head, to compensate for the lack of no A/c bracket.

One more question, does anybody have a part # for the right length belt to go from crank - water pump - power steering pump?
