New 1966 F100 and Need Help
First of all I want to say hi from Colorado and I have been reading this Forum for a while and it seems like some good information is always available. Her is my issue, I have a 1966 F10 with a 352 4 speed in my truck and it was running really good for about three months. I always had to set my carburetor choke out slightly for it to run smoothly but out of the blue after taking it to the store I came out and it would not start, sounded flooded. I let it sit for a while came back started right up and I drove home, next morning it started fine I got to where I was going and when I came out a few minutes later it would not start again, sat for a good while started. I suspected the Carburetor which had been rebuilt a few months ago so just to nip the problem I ordered a newly refurbished one, installed it and it started right up idled perfectly, ran better than ever, stopped it now it will not start again unless it sits for a long while. I also installed a new fuel pump and problem still there starts great, runs great, once you turn off it will not start for a while (plenty of cranking power will not start) any ideas?
