New guy here from Massachusetts
Hello all. Thought I'd introduce myself to the fine Ford fanatics here on FORDification.
I'm Ken. I was raised on Fords. Grew up in the 70s, and my dad had F-250 4x4s through my whole childhood. That sort of thing kinda sticks with you when your Dad is/was your hero (RIP Dad; still miss you).
I am currently Ford-less; sacriledge, if you ask me.
I am an auto tech by trade. I was a Chrysler/Jeep tech for 14 years (which is why I have a Dodge - I know ). When the Gov't forced Chrysler to shut down a bunch of their dealerships, mine got the ax. The Toyota gas pedal recall sucked for them, but was good for me: my local Toyota dealer needed help in a big way. Been there since - yeah, again - I know , but it's a job.
I must say that the 67-72 Ford body style just "speaks" to me. It's what a truck should look like. Really scarce here in the New England salt belt these days.
I hope to evetually/soon/as funds allow pick up a rig with a semi-clean to rust-free body. In the meantime, I hope I can add something positive to the forums however I can.
