Post by dolinick »

I saw this at the gym parking lot today. Do any of you know what a "PLATINUM" is?

I think it a top of the line Ford, step above a Lariet. Fancy name name means they can charge more money for it..

They have been around for a while one way or another and platinum is offerd as the top of the line trim model. Ford had a platinum Superduty in 2001 that was a silver and grey and few people had them. I though they were kind of a success but King Ranch seemed to be the more popular model. They brought the platinum to the F150 and it seems to be doing really well and now they are come back with a platinum super duty in 2013. http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2012 ... ition.html
