Hello Again

Post by hotrod69 »

Wow, been a long time since I have been here. I still have my 1969 Camper Special and just acquired a 1971 f-100. Both trucks should be home tomorrow afternoon. I am excited to post pics and update my progress. My '69 has spent the last 5 years away from home waiting for a motor and tranny. Shop owner became ill, so it sat and sat. It's been away for too long, and now it's time to get it back home. This truck belonged to my wife's Grandfather who passed away just before I got my hands on it. I promised her Grandmother, I would restore it back to original. I have decided to name the truck "Grandpa Joe". He was an awesome man with a kind word to say about everyone he met. I am a hot-rodder by nature, but I feel the need to keep my promise and do a restoration he would have loved. Pics should be up tomorrow. Great to be back.

Glad to have you back and RE-Welcome!

Our words and our deeds are all that we are and all that we have, whether we're in public and being watched or alone and not seen. It is how we will be thought of and remembered in the end.

Keeping your word sends a powerful message to the person you've promised something to and resonates through eternity.
