No Experience, Lots of Enthusiasm from Ohio
A few years ago I came across a picture of fomocoguys '69 crew cab on the net. That was the coolest truck I'd ever seen! I didn't even know they made crew cabs back then. So I've been looking for one of my own and I finally found it. 1970 F250 crew cab 4X4 short bed. It's coming from the desert and supposedly has very little rust. I haven't seen it in person yet but it should arrive in a few days.
I have no automotive experience at all but I can't wait to learn. I intend to do a frame off restoration and do it all myself. I've already spent hours reading the forums on this site and I can't wait to get started. I'm sure gonna need a bunch of help!
I also don't have much experience with computers so I'm attempting to attach a photo, but who knows.

from SoCal nice truck. Is it just me or are there a lot of crews popping up on the site? I love it I'm glad people are buying them and not letting them go to the crusher.

That is one I missed! Looks to have less rust then mine. Nice find.

Re: No Experience, Lots of Enthusiasm from Ohio
Thanks for the warm welcome. I look forward to learning from everyone here.
70shortbox - I'm not completely sure. I haven't seen it with my own eyes yet. My understanding is that all 4X4's of this era were "highboys" because of the clearance needed for the divorced transfer case. Don't know for sure if that is true.
Hi, Hivewax, I talked to the guy you got your truck from, but ultimately I was afraid I didn't have enough experience to deal with the rust. I feel like I got lucky finding this truck.
