My neighbor recently put chrome smoothies on his '66 mustang and he gave me his old set of wheels which are pretty nice. The problem is, they are a 4 lug pattern and my wheels are 5 lug. Anyone know where I can get adapters to go from 5 lug to 4 lug?
Thanks,
Matt

re: Wheel Adapters
Take my advice and don't do it.
If you want custom rims, then sell those and buy some with the proper bolt pattern for your truck.

In life many men take the path of righteousness, some take the path many others follow (G.M. owners, for example), some take a more arduous path, some a simpler path. I, sir, took the PSYCO-PATH!!

re: Wheel Adapters
If you are going to drive the truck, you could have a bad experience
using adaptors. If it's a show truck, well that's different. Best way- get
the wheels that fit and use the best fasteners you can find. A lot of the
chrome lug nuts have casting in the threads. They can tear a wheel stud
clean off with a good impact. If your not sure, use a 3/8 drive speed
handle and socket to run them down. Test fit all aftermarket stuff. Some
of it's great stuff! Some of it's no good.
