Hi, my name is Stephen from the inland empire area of southern california. I am the proud owner of a 1970 f250 custom with a 6.4L 390 in it. I was WAY too excited to find this website and I ask that you please be patient with the MANY questions I will be asking in the near future .I am a beginning student at the local UTI here in Rancho Cucamonga. I will be attempting to rebuild my engine first. If there are any comments/suggestions that may help make my attempt faster/less difficult please dont be shy . I think I wanna step up from the stock arrangement a little considering the setup I have is COMPLETELY stock. Maybe try to get somewhere above the 350+ horsepower range and still be able to get great enough gas mileage to use as a daily driver. I also want it to sound MEAN as hell!! Yeah, I drive it pretty much every weekend (drive a work car during the week). Its a dark green longbed with the spare tire in the bed. Umm... actually, its in the picture directly under my message... . Forgot about my signature.
Anyway, what does your bump look like? I have only seen a few driving around from time to time and I will keep my eyes peeled. Also, if you need any parts, let me know as I have a lot of extra stuff lying around.

Calfdemon im not sure what a "bump" is...please school me on the lingo and anything you have "lying around" you think I may need PLEASE let me know...being a student and taking care of a family doesn't allow me to spend much money on my truck...im sure you guys know how it is

"Bump" is the slang nickname term for our trucks. Or "Bumpside", so named for the raised bump that goes down the side of the 67-72 Ford trucks. So when you see someone talk about their bump or bumpside, they are just talking about their truck. If someone says "slick", they are talking about the model truck before ours, and a "dent" or "dentside" is the model after ours since they have a "dent" down the side where ours has the bump.
