New to the F100 world...
Hey everyone - just picked up my first truck over this past weekend. '72 F100 shortbed - 302/3-speed on the tree - bone stock for the most part. Appears to have had some body work done but it's showing it's age, as well as some body cancer. Nothing that can't be repaired. Been bleedin' Ford blue since birth, but this is my first Ford in 3 years. Took a break from wrenching after selling my '89 Fox body. Had a few classics as well but this is my first F100. I've already learned a TON from this site - some very knowledgable folks on here. I look forward to talking to those who are just as pationate about their vehicles as I am! Stay tuned for the mods to begin!

Hey 72_F100, I had an 88' Fox Body that met its fate with my brother behind the wheel. Nice truck, what kind of mods are you planning on making?

Thanks for the warm welcome all!
BumpSide67 - ouch man sorry to hear about your Stang!!! Right now my short term plans are to get it road worthy and dependable enough to drive daily. This weekend I'm swapping out the 3-speed with a 4-speed Toploader left over from my dad's '69 Mach1 build. Currently, my daily driver is a motorcycle ('07 GSXR 1000) so I'd like to switch off every now and then. Long term plans include crown vic ifs swap, 4-link with coilovers, 18's and 20's (ordering the wheels next week haha) might possibly bag it down the road but just going for a nice stance for now. Motor will be replaced with an EFI set up from a donor Fox. I'm doing nothing but research and making parts lists right now however. The truck looks much nicer in that pic than in person LOL
