New from N.C. and what I love about a FORD.

Post by Beecherlee »

Just joined and wanted to tell someone just why I love a FORD truck. I have a 67 that I have had a few yrs and just use it occasionally now to do some work around the house. I bought the truck at the same time I bought an old farm house to restore and I needed a truck to haul various things. This particular truck I saw sitting in a field for at least 10 or more yrs with grass so high around the truck you could barely see it. I found the owner and he agreed to let me have it for $500. So I towed it home and here's why I love a FORD,,,I drained the old gas and oil and put in new ,installed a new carb and she fired right up and runs like a sewing machine. Been using it for almost 4 yrs now. I have replace a few electrical parts and a new tank but other than that .....just drive it. And now to show my appreciation I'm gonna restore its beauty.

:wel: from SoCal. Isn't it amazing that your old truck requires so little from you and it gives so much in return!
