1968 F350 4x4 Dually Owner here, Nice To Meet All Of You!

Post by Chris M »

Just bought my first old Ford truck to restore & was told about this site! I bought a 1968 Ford F350 4x4 Dually that I really don't know that much about other than people telling me that its a rare truck & it was a conversion. What company converted it I have no idea. The front pumpkin is on the driver side. Anyways its great to be appart of this fantastic site & im hoping to meet more F350 owners & others! Photo's are of the 1968 Ford F350 4x4 Dually I just bought. It has the 390 backed by a 4 speed. The truck runs strong-I drove it home. The ride was better than I thought-maybe because of the 6 brand new tires that are on it. The flatbed is a dumb but there are no Hydraulics hooked up to it, I have no use for that anyways being its a truck to restore-not work with. Hope you all enjoy the pictures! (PS...yes it has the wrong grill in it-anyone have one for a 1968?

I forgot to add that this was originally an ENCON (forestry)truck. The owner had it on the road until 2009 & then just used it to plow his driveway. He even had the original spotlight that was mounted on the truck!

I dont know how easy it will be to find a correct grill for it, in arkansas it is VERY hard to find them. and unfortunately, LMC does not sell 68-69 grills
