BudsTruck's '68 F100 Ranger

Post by BudsTruck »

I also posted these pictures in my introduction in the Welcome Mat section. This is my '68 F100 Ranger with a 360 and 3 spd manual. It belonged to my late grandfather and hopefully in the next couple of weeks I'll finally be driving it home. I'll post more (and higher quality) pictures when I get it to my side of the state. Really the only thing I plan on doing to it in the near future is a lot of heavy duty cleaning and painting it (keeping original color of course) and replacing some aged rubber around lights and windows. As far as I know the plastic seat cover and floor mat have been in this since he bought it and the seats are in perfect condition. I can't wait to get it home and start driving it.

I replaced the valve cover gasket and fixed the leak last weekend. I need to clean the oil off now!

Ok, the truck is finally home! It's got 195,xxx miles on it. Some guys from church who were in Pigeon Forge for the F100 show brought it home on a trailer for me. I really appreciated that as that thing needs shocks and was pretty squirrelly over 50mph! Now I need to drive it to my house from their shop and start making my lists and deciding what projects start first.
