73-77 vs. 78-79 MC and booster

does anyone one know if there is any difference between the 73-77 to 78-79 MC and booster besides the brake lines are ran to it differently?

there can be all kinds of differences. well for application that is. the bore size of the piston inside the master may be different. which will give your brakes a different pressure or flow of fluid to the brakes. then some of the masters have different length cups inside of the rear of it. so the brake rod will have to probabl;y be special that goes from either of those masters to a bump brake pedal.
