New 68 F100 owner

Post by Scoot43 »

I live in East Lansing Michigan and about a month ago bought a 1968 f100 from a neighbor's brother. Actually, at the time I thought it was a '78 because I havn't owned a pickup in years. So it was funny, but ok too when I realized it was a '68. " Hey all the parts are different". Unfortunately someone put a different engine in it and transmission so I have many questions about what is "right" and what is not.
I will post my queries as they come up. But I think the first will have to do with the speedo.
