Suspension Removal
I attempted to begin removing my front suspension this weekend, but got nowhere. I can't get the spindle to separate from the tie rod ends...I took a hammer to it and still got nothing. Any tips / tricks? If I can get the tie rods & center link off, it looks like I can begin removing I beams and arms.

Re: Suspension Removal
to take the steering ball joints apart. you need a ball joint seperator. its a fork you drive in between them. they also make one that presses them out with a screw type of operation. but if the screw slips it mashes the threads. and you have to usually buy a new steering rod.

I know that tool as a pickle fork.
May your sails stay full, and your knots not slip. Unless a slip knot.
