Steering column & Trans Swap

Post by marvin2 »

My colum is the original 3 on the tree manual shift. The previous owner swapped it to a floor shift (manual) T18. I am ultimately thinking about swapping the T18 for a C4 automatic. If I install a floor shifter for the C4, would I need to swap my current steering column as well?

As long as you're running a floor shifter for your C4, your steering column will not be affected and therefore can be left as is.
