Brake Adjustment

I know I've seen it on here but can't put my finger on it . Which direction does the adjuster go to tighten the manual drum brakes?

I figure I can find out here quicker than trial and error.

i cant ever remember either. i think up is to tighten. but i may be wrong.

Guess I'll find out the hard way. I was thinking, on one side, up was tightening and the other side was down to tighten. If I get to it this weekend I'll post it here for future reference.

Fordman is correct. UP on the adjuster, down on the end of the brake adjuster spoon tightens
