1971 f100 Rear Backing Plate

1971 f100 Rear Backing Plate
When I first got my ford the first thing I did was the back brakes. The back passenger side backing plate had the pin broke off where you hook the top springs. I stole the backing plate off of my 58'. It worked...or so I thought. It ate up the shoes and drum. I REALLY need to find the right backing plate but am having no luck what-so-ever. Any suggestions?

First of all 
Have you checked at the local pic 'n pull salvage yards near you? Try that first. If they don't have what you're looking for, ask the counter guys there to check at other nearby wrecking yards too.
You can also post your request in the parts wanted section here at Fordification. I'll bet Fordman probably has what you're looking for.

Just discovered my need friday evening. Have checked everything that has been open and have scoured the internet. will put a post up on this site and continue checking the yards this week. Thanks for your help.

Just came accross 1 from a 69 that should work. I like this site! I spent all day Saturday and Friday night going from site to site with no luck. Got the right part in less than a day on here!
