<-- Isn"t that what our Cleveland Indians say?
Hello fellow enthusiests, and hats off to this sites founder and how he got here. I have had several F series trucks and have just acquired a 1970 LWB that will jump start a project 1969 that has been sitting dormat for about 15 yrs. the 69 was a small block auto, with less than 70,000 miles, with its usual salt related issues with this area. The mistake was taking it apart, scrapping the rusted body( with colum) and not moving any further. This Project will be done with the help of my two sons who live in Fla with their mother, which I get for 2 months during the summer.Over the yrs I acquired a cab and bed from Arizona, new custom bench seat from Calif, new fenders, body bushings, roll pan, carpeting, lowering beams and flip kit, so I have a lot to work with. The 1970 donor is a so called "survivor" with 72 K orig miles. It is an auto, with a 360, the colum shifter was shot so the previous owner cut a hole in the floor and hooked a straight shift off tranny. So what I would like to do is install tilt wheel, any help with what would fit if any would be helpful. What I dont have is a decent tailgate, which I hope to locate during my Calif,Nv vacation this summer. Anybody install the Dakota digital dash, if so, how hard was it? As soon as I figure out how to post pics I will. Hope I dont get yelled @for length. Anybody from greater Cleveland Oh? thanks all
